NowoCoat CoolingPaint

NowoCoat Coolingpaint is a patented and innovative roof paint that reflects up to 90% of the sun’s infrared rays and reduces the surface’s absorption of heat by as much as 20% by using microscopic mirrors that is added to the pigments. NowoCoat Coolingpaint both protects and beautifies the roof, while at the same time being a green and sustainable alternative to a new roof.

Application:

Before application, the roof surface must be dry and completely cleaned of dirt, moss and algae. NowoCoat Coolingpaint is applied twice with a brush, roller or an airless sprayer (200-220 bar). NowoCoat Coolingpaint can be diluted with 10-20% water for the first application but is to be used undiluted for the second application. Based on the best available techniques NowoCoat Coolingpaint is based on HybridTechnology-System™ (a combination of water-based alkyd and acrylates) and added fungicidal and algae-inhibiting additive with SlowRelease-Protection™, ensuring that the additive only activates in humid weather. In addition, a special longlasting UV blocker has been added.
